	Extreme stippling is a little known combat sport. Dot to the death! ahem This was done on a family-visit-vacation when I had some time on my hands but had to pretend I was still involved in the conversation. The light was bad and I probably took six years of life out of my eyes with this piece, but all in the name of art. 8.5 x 11, black felt tipped pen. Included in a coloring book. 05-04

I must be getting old -- I looked at this for several moments thinking 'I don't get the title'.....then I read the comment about stippling being a combat sport, looked again and..................duh............I GET IT NOW! Perfect job, just perfect -- making us work to 'get it' -- that's the sign of a talented artist (or a talented anything for that matter).

17 Jul 2007	Anonymous	Loading... I have seen a lot of Elfwood, and I mean a lot. But this picture is my favorite. Ever since I was 12 my dad and I have gone elk hunting together. And every year we get up before dawn to get a good place to look around for our prey. And every year I think about how much the knots on those aspen trees look like eyes.
