This... was a lot of work. It will be a long time before I paint more roses.

The linework for this piece is in my Tell Me a Story book. It is an illustration for Right Angles to Fairyland, by C.E.Murphy (unpublished).

Watercolor and ink, started in January of 2005, finished in December, 2008.
