Tag As FavoriteComment		Not every picture turns out. This is a won't-finish piece; I've cropped out most of the screwed up background, but there are still a bunch of things that bug me about this piece. Here for variety and to keep me humble. I'll rotate this out quickly. Ink. 05-03

Hmm I see what you mean. I like the background but, I think it should have had more pillars and some other 'ruins' like backdrop. (unless that is part of what you cut out.) The mermaid is - okay. Her right arm looks off and I can't tell if she's yawning, singing or what. :/ You have a good start with this one, though. I'd say try it again! If she were less the center of the image and melded more with the background of ruins and some sea animals this would be a great peice. Perfect learning draft. 1
