	This piece was done for the <a href="http://www.ellenmilliongraphics.com/fantasyart/emggroup.php?id=7">Visions of Atlantis</a> book (sadly, sold out!). I wondered what it must be like, that moment of the fall of Atlantis, and came up with this. Ink on bristol, 9 x 12.

It's been really exciting to see an artist's evolution of both style and content, over the course of years! You and your snowy unicorns, for example, have always been favorites of mine. Such an engrossing world you've created! I like this image a lot. Atlantis? I always wonder how an artist knows what instant they're going to paint from the events in their head. Because this one is a brilliant combination of suspense and a sad sense that we already know what is inevitably coming. Your fan, Laurel /"Eddi"
